Rotaplate: Meal Planner
Plan the week's meals, build your grocery list and keep recipes with photos.
Rotaplate plans your meals for the week, so you do not have to think about them every evening.
Plan four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Choose a recipe from your book, write a meal in your own words (leftovers, a restaurant...), or fill the week in one tap with recipes you have not cooked for a while.
Your shopping list builds itself. Each recipe you add to the menu adds its ingredients to the list. You can also add items by hand, and they stay in their own section.
Your recipe book, with photos. Keep every recipe in one place: servings, preparation time, ingredients, steps and a photo for each dish. Mark your favorites, duplicate a recipe to adapt it, and mark a dish as cooked to remember when you made it.
Cook again, and keep the menu varied. Rotaplate suggests recipes you have not cooked for a while, and you can say when a dish is not for you.
Your data stays on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your recipes, photos and plans stay on your device.
Try it first. A demo adds sample recipes and a sample week so you can explore the app, and you can clear it when you are ready.
Light, dark or system theme. Rotaplate is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Arabic.
Who it is for
- Households that want to decide the week's meals once, instead of asking what to cook every evening.
- People who keep their own recipes and want to reuse them in a weekly plan.
- People who prefer a meal planner that needs no account and keeps the data on their phone.
Why choose Rotaplate
- Everything stays on your phone: no account, no server, no ads and no tracking.
- A weekly plan with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, a ready-made recipe library to start from, and your own recipes next to it.
- Your photos stay on the phone too: add one from your gallery or take it with the camera.
What it does not do yet
- No sharing between two phones yet: the plan lives on one phone.
- The weekly plan and the shopping list are in English only for now; recipes and the app itself are translated.
- No online recipe import: recipes are written or copied by hand.

Rotaplate is a meal planner: you write your recipes, plan your week and keep a shopping list. The short version: your data stays on your phone, and we collect nothing.
What the app handles
Recipes, meals and the weekly plan that you enter yourself. They are stored on your phone, in the app's private storage. There is no account, no server and no cloud copy made by the app.
Photos that you add to a recipe or a meal, either from your gallery or taken with the camera. The app copies them into its private storage on your phone.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not send your recipes, plans, photos or any other data to us or to anyone else. It has no advertising and no analytics.
Permissions
The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo. Access to your photos is used only when you choose a photo for a recipe or a meal. The app asks for these permissions at that moment, and you can refuse them or withdraw them in your phone settings. Without them, you can still plan meals and write recipes.
Files, backups and deletion
Your data is written only inside the app's private storage. Uninstalling the app removes it. Your phone's own backup settings decide whether the operating system copies this data elsewhere.
Optional support and tips
The app can offer an optional tip. Tips are paid through the in-app purchase of Apple (App Store) or Google Play, which processes the payment. We do not receive your payment details. Tips unlock nothing.
The contact button opens your mail app with our support address. The app itself sends nothing.
Children
The app is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children.
